Grady used his creative skills to basically create the Winston Cooperative District. I currently serve as a representative for one of the town’s on the cooperative board. The Winston Cooperative District used the knowledge that Dr. Batchelor provided to secure land, financing, and an engineering partner for an industrial park along the I-22 corridor. This would not have been possible without Dr. Grady Batchelor. Dr. Batchelor builds the long-term relationships necessary for success in industrial development. He works to unite people so that they can achieve a common purpose. The work that he and the WCD did in Winston County will change the economic forecast for Winston County for the next twenty-five to fifty years.
